SPCA inspectorate consultant Glyn Roberts said a cat refuge was set up where emergency workers could safely confine injured animals found.
The SPCA team of six responded to calls for help in rescuing pets which included helping Taman Bukit Mewah resident Azuin Baharudin save her 51 cats on Saturday.
