In the battle to preserve the health of the world we live in, websites have become the first stop for information regarding the activities and campaigns of environmental groups.
Today we point the way to the four environmental groups involved in campaigning for change in Malaysias legislative approach to wildlife conservation.
TRAFFIC Southeast Asia

Established in 1976, the organisation is a wildlife trade monitoring network and works to ensure that trade in wild plants and animals is not a threat to the conservation of nature.
TRAFFIC Southeast Asia was established in October 1991 and is hosted by WWF Malaysia.
A central aim of TRAFFICs activities is to contribute to the wildlife trade-related priorities of TRAFFICs partner organisations, World Wildlife Federation ( www.panda.org ) and International Union for Conservation of Nature ( www.iucn.org) .
WWF-Malaysia
Established as a national conservation trust on Jan 13 1972, WWF-Malaysia began as a humble two person-organisation. Early work focused on scientific research of wildlife and important natural habitats.
This later expanded to the management of protected areas. Today, the organisation covers the broader issues of the natural environment, incorporating such aspects as policy work, environmental education, public awareness and campaigns.

2. Environmental Education working towards raising public awareness, with an emphasis among school children through project involvement and hands-on experience.
3. Publications aimed at relaying key conservation messages to the public; educating and increasing awareness on the environment, and a way of sharing information with the scientific community.
4. Parks looks into establishing and managing Nature Parks; primarily aimed at creating and raising public appreciation on nature and the environment.
