Rani from Taman Sungai Jati, Klang, is tired of cleaning up the mess created outside her house by stray dogs in her neighbourhood.
She says that the big group of stray dogs is harmless. However, they leave their stools in front of the houses, causing the area to stink badly if the place is not washed promptly.
“It is bad enough that they defecate everywhere, where many people may accidentally step on the stools. Even worse, these dogs also have puppies that always get into the houses,” she says.
Rani hopes the authorities will look into the problem as it is a nuisance to the residents.
● A spokesman for the Klang Municipal Council health department says that the enforcement team will be sent to the area to catch the dogs.
“We appreciate the public’s assistance in helping the municipal council to report such issues. When lodging complaints to the council, the public should give us more detailed information such as exact location and time so that it would make the work easier for the officers,” he says.
