Muhammad Raizal is unhappy about the stray wild dogs problem at Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang.
“There is uneasiness and fear among the residents as these dogs tend to travel in packs at night. These dogs are getting into houses and running off with shoes and slippers, even killing neighbourhood cats.”
Residents have complained to the Selayang Municipal Council but action was not taken. They are worried the next victims may be residents themselves, and are especially fearful the children may be attacked.
● ERNIE Mazlina, assistant environmental health officer at the council, says that regular operations are being conducted once a week.
“We operate in different areas most of the time, but we place priority on complaints lodged with us.
“As Malay Mail has alerted us, we will be conducting an operation at the Bandar Tasik Puteri area today.”
